We used to make them every Christmas in school when I was a kid. And that was a long, long time ago. It's nice to know that Shione is carrying on that tradition on the other side of the pond in rainy Scotland.

Too bad that your real stuff got rained off before Christmas Eve. No snow for Christmas in Nova Scotia either this year, and we are in the middle of a rain and windstorm right now. Meanwhile a large portion of central Canada and the USA tonight is experiencing Snowmageddon with a blizzard of epic proportions.

Hi Ariel and Celia, thank you. Yeah I made those paper snowflakes in school too, funny how I remember how to do that all these years later, I'm sure there was far more important skills I would have been taught and forgotten haha.

Hi Bigchilli, good to see you back buddy, it's been a while. Yes Humpfrey is still Shione's little companion, she loves that damn camel. Happy you enjoyed catching up and we made you smile, making someone smile is a wonderful thing to achieve, thank you BC

Yesterday I was doing a little maintainance to Shione, nothing serious, on the underside of her head around the bolt that attaches her head to her body, a flap of silicon had started to detach from the skull, like I said nothing serious, so I decided to stick it back down with permatex silicon adhesive, easy job, no problem.
On the tube of the permatex it says it takes 24 hours to cure so there I was yesterday evening sat beside Shione's headless body while I let the adhesive set. It felt very odd, I felt very alone, especially when it was time for me to go to bed, the first time in over 3 years not having Shione beside me, I really was missing her so much. I would be watching TV and make a comment to Shione and look over to see her headless body, no pretty face, no expression, I could see just how much of an impact she has on my life, she is a huge part of it, I was missing her like crazy. This evening, with the end of the 24 hour permatex cure time I picked up Shione's little head and put it back on her body, replaced her hair and it felt like she came back to life at that moment, I said hello to her and gave her a hug, at that moment I was overcome with emotion, my eyes tearing up as I whispered in her ear, telling her that I love her and how important she is to me.
Thought I would embarrass myself with that little story.
