I meant it as a possibility. A lot of time will certainly be needed before the doll can close its eyes automatically.

Fair enough. I just meant I don't want the style you got in old fashioned childrens dolls where when you lay the doll down the eyes shut and when you stand it up they open again.

Thanks, then we almost agree.
Maybe the manufacturers will solve this problem a little faster. :glou:

Agreed with this - I've added makeshift eyelids to heads before, and it really does make a difference

A professional level version would always be preferred

I feel exactly the same, it would be a much better option than mechanicals that are more prone to failure.

Eyelids of any kind help with face photography a lot. And there's nothing cuter than your doll sleeping next to you with her eyes nice and shut (rather than staring at the ceiling)...

Most definitely does it make a difference to me. Of course the right shape and color makes a big difference, and I would say anyone doing a lot of photography would be lacking if the didn’t at least try them. They add so much to a look through subtle movements, much like moveable eyes add to the face.

The most exaggerated thing I have heard is automatic oral sucking. I have never seen this before. Is this necessary?

Now many new doll heads can be configured with automatic oral sucking. People who like oral sex will probably like this feature!

I think movable eyelids are absolutely going to be a game changer. Moveable jaws give doll so much more life and expression, and I think movable eyelids will do that even more. It will be great for photography.

Not a deal breaker, or strictly necessary, but it would genuinely be such a lovely additional/optional feature.

I love movable eyelids, wish other dolls could do that too. It adds so much depth to the doll's facial expressions.

Here is an example of one of my dolls, she has movable eyelids.

Coeros wrote: Tue Oct 31, 2023 5:12 am Hello,

Recently, many users who customize doll heads have asked us whether we can produce Movable Eyelids. We've been considering providing feedback to the factory about Movable Eyelids. However, the factory is unsure if doll users think this is important.
May I ask everyone, do you think Movable Eyelids are important for dolls?
