Faces in the crowd - new head introductions

Hi,

with all the talk about things like body shapes and LHP, an important aspect of dolls gets forgotten a bit: the face.

For me, one of the way to approach a new doll purchase is to look for a face I like. In the next step, I take a look at the compatible body options from the head's manufacturer. This approach is most suitable for customers who are planning to spend some time looking at their doll, respectively the companionship use case (opposed to dolls primarily as a sex toy).

Because of that I am starting a new thread to give the doll heads some more exposure.

Btw, on the Dollstudio frontpages, we have a similar functionality. In a section, new heads are listed chronologically (screenshot above).

In this thread, we can get more in detail, and chat about the new arrivals.

Hi,

let's start with Chloe (XT-25) from XT Doll:

Chloe was introduced a couple of days ago. She is a life-sized head and can be combined with all life-sized body styles by XT Doll, as well silicone bodies (= full silicone doll) as TPE bodies (= hybrid doll configuration).

According to the specs, Chloe features an "oral sex function". XT Doll did not disclose a lot of details yet, but judging from the photos, it looks like a "ROS" type head:

She has teeth and possibly a hinged jaw. It will be exciting to see in which direction XT is moving. Maybe full-featured ROS heads with hinged jaw, molded teeth, tongue and uvula?

here is the next new arrival: Irontech's S39 head aka Layla:

Layla is a life-sized head and can be combined with all life-sized body styles by Irontech, as well silicone bodies (= full silicone doll) as TPE bodies (= hybrid doll configuration). Depicted above is a factory photo. Below is hybrid doll configuration with a 159 cm TPE body:

Layla is a 'regular' head, meaning that there is no ROS variant available. Currently, Irontech has upgraded eight heads with ROS functionality: S1, S17, S18, S20, S26, S29, S37 and S40.

Nina can be combined with all life-sized body styles by Normon Doll, as well silicone bodies (= full silicone doll) as TPE bodies (= hybrid doll configuration).

Thanks for the thread.
I gotta say, lately it feels a bit overwhelming with a lot of new designs plus the different new features. I am not gonna be too bothered with "ROS", but the moving jaw is really a feature I like to have when looking for a new head. (And probably the doll coming with it, but there it starts to get more complicated.)

From design I appreciate that there are really more options and differing looks out there, especially more end 20s or early 30s looking faces.

Hi,

on X, Jiusheng announced three new heads:

Jiusheng no. 78B aka Yuka
Jiushng no. 79 aka Catalin

Only no. 78B features oral capability (ROS, probably meaning: with hinged jaw, teeth, tongue).

For my taste, manufacturers always feature ROS on the heads I favor the least

I also approach my doll choices as described with me either finding a body I like and then scout for the perfect head(s) no matter the brand or the reverse. I am now searching for some good head, so this post is just what the Dr. ordered. Thanks!!

SE Doll introduced yet another head, SE no. 124 aka Piper:

Piper is a life-sized TPE head. Depicted is makeup style "A", so according to SE Doll, her current name is "Piper A."

Angel Kiss has also introduec a new head, LS50:

This is a life-sized silicone head. LS50 was announced together with a new body style, AK's 2nd 164/C cup doll.

This head will match with all life-sized Angel Kiss bodies.

Angel Kiss has introduced yet another new head, LS53:

This is a life-sized silicone head. LS53 was announced together with a supposedly new body style, Angel Kiss AK1 (which is imho identical with the AK-S175/D from May 2022).

This head will match with all life-sized Angel Kiss bodies.

Angel Kiss introduced yet another new head, LS4 aka Mia:

Obviously, AK releases their heads completely out of sequential numbering.

The alias name is probably from the photographer, so Mia is not official.

This is a life-sized silicone head. LS4 was announced together with a new body style, AK's 168/G cup doll aka AK11.

This head will match with all life-sized Angel Kiss bodies.

Mia does not feature ROS or anything out of the ordinary. No depth of oral cavity in the specs.

Note for all those who haven't yet figured out how the internal numbers work at XT Doll/Rainstorm: I haven't, either.

For comparison: This is XT-8 aka Aelene:

Could be the same sculpt as the chin line is pretty similar. Though, eye brows and meye makeup are very different.

If the sculpts of XT-8 and XT-8-B are identical and the appended "B" just signifies a makeup variant (like, for example, for SE Doll heads), they can do some serious magic with their makeup styles. Please be aware of that if you order a doll with XT-8 head.
