Real Pictures of FunWest Asian Doll

This is diffidently the problem with many doll makers. They at this point, many will try and do a bit of a shell game with buyers. There are so many buyers with little or know experience with dolls. They try and get over on buyers and the excitement of buying a doll.
Thank goodness for TDF.
I question why they even went this route. Why post these photos side by side and say they are the same.

Never be afraid to ask questions before you buy.

Eyes are too big in the factory photo and looks 0% Asian. The promo photo's eyes are 100x better...sexy and sultry looking. Not 100% Asian. She looks more half-Asian.

I'd be disappointed if I ordered wanting the head in the promo photo and received that wide-eyed look.

What exactly does an Asian person look like? And how are your percentages of 'Asianess' arrived at? Lol

Well, I haven´t seen a simple factory shot that could be compared with one from a promo. One is done by a factory worker likely just pointing a phone and click. Popping head on, pushing eyes in, sit the doll up.... a 2-3 minute affair at max. Off to the next doll in the production line. A promo involves at least 2-3 specialists, incl.photographer, some additional helpers, multiple accessories, pro lighting and pro everything else. Likely takes several hours until completion. But I noticed that oftentimes a 1A production doll is taken for promos, while customers get everything else, incl. dolls with little faults or small defects. Was the same for my first IronTech 155 btw. (knew it from factory shots, accepted after beeing granted a discount. So have a very close look at what is shown you from the factory. Ask for additional detail shots if unsure and deny if you have serious concerns on what you´ll get for the money).

But we few Funwest product owners beeing active at TDF proved that their dolls and heads can be made look as good (or even better) as a promo shot. So the sense of this thread bits of escapes me, since us watchers reactions should´ve been clear right from the start IMO.

Skin tone is not even close either..
The photos on the right look much more like Silicone and the one on the left
is for sure TPE.

I much prefer the look of the doll on the right but I also prefer Silicone anyway..

No it is not lol.
The nipples are not even the same color lol.
Unless the so called "Photographer" edited the shit out of it with photoshop..

The left side is chosen pink，the right side is light brown. The color can be restored to the same as the picture on the right, mainly depending on personal preference

Personally I find the factory pic more attractive (aside from one of the eyes being not lined up completely, which is easily fixed, but its something more than that, like the bigger eyes are more expressive, like bedroom eyes, although there are other Funwest heads that I like more.

Does it have less makeup than the promo pic?

The factory pic is more Western Vs the Asian promo. Its bad advertising tho b/c the whole point of buying these dolls is to get them how they are presented in their promo.
But nah those are 2 different dolls by comparison.

I personally would not be happy if I got the doll on the left when it was supposed to look like the doll on the right. I would cancel my order. We all expect a little difference with promo pictures compared to actual ones, but this borders on deceit in my opinion.

I’ve been shopping for a second doll, looking at many manufacturers, which is why I’m here on this page. I’ve seen some really good sculpts from Funwest, but this scares me a little.
