What a difference a wig makes

Post by Dani24 »

Hi, I recently received my Miki (Irontech). And I am proud to show you her versatility.
Just another wig and some other clothes makes a difference!

If you want to show your pics, please don't hesitate. Just a change of wig, haircut, clothing. The same girl, another personality.

The last my fav, it really matches her skin tone nicely and looks very realistic. It's great to see all the options.

Many thanks, Tsaxman. Also on behalf of Miki.

I agree, but I think brown eyes will suit her better with this haircut. I recently purchased the Easy Move Eyes™ Kit from MannequinFan and purchased some jewelry from Ali. So soon we can make even better pictures of this versatile lady.

But Miki herself likes the third picture the most (with long blond/black hair) so I made my avatar of this pic to please her.

I really like the blonde/black one myself too! Yeah it's amazing how much of a difference a wig makes. I want to get some more soon!

Yeah, and some nice jewelry and make-up will help too to make a difference.

Thanks for the compliment. You will see more soon. Waiting for the EME from MannequinFan. Miki is looking forward to it as much as I do.

Wig colour and eye colour can make a huge difference. Same with glasses or hats, so local thrift stores for cheap accessories are worth checking out too. I picked up a few sets of glasses from a dollar store, for like $2 each, and was totally worth it.

Here's one of my heads, wm 398, with a few different wig and eye combos (some with teeth inserts), to show how much it can change a head's look.

Definitely, yes! 8) With few investments one can make a single head looking like at least half a dozen different unique characters. One can even bits of plan ahead on that before actually buying one. A fun thing I found out is just turning around a wig (back side to front) or creating weired hairstyles by adding unique, improvised accessories. The doll head character exploration never stops. :D :glou:

Good stuff.
I suspect I'll be buying and even styling a few wigs myself. There's one particular hairstyle I want which I know no one has, which I'm gonna have to style myself which is interesting cos I have not the faintest idea how. I suspect some kind of hair gel will be required...
I apologise for any late responses to users trying to communicate with me, as a certain Mod has decided he doesn't like how I talked in a particular post then decided to restrict me so I can post nothing without his permission. If I am banned for good, then best wishes to those I, and Aran, have met. May your futures with your dolls be good ones.
