I have also always wanted to somehow have a tattooed look on my dolls. The best thing I could think of was to purchase tattoo sleeves (stretchy, sock-like thing you slide on your limbs to make it look like tats), and then put sheer stockings over them to hold them tight to the doll and blend them in better. It worked pretty well, for the most part. Not a perfect solution, but best I could come up with. Here are some pics with my former Zelex:

There are varying types of temporary tattoos .. some are designed to last for several weeks. I figure its always best to test it on a part of the doll that you can't see (like the inside of the neck connection to the head.
