SooYoung looks amazing in her Hanbok! The colors of the top and the skirt go so well together, and I really like the gold floral pattern on her cuffs and lapel. The headdress is lovely, too. What a pretty and elegant outfit!

I would be curious to know what these traditional dishes are that are laid out on the table. Do you eat them at the same time, alternately picking at one or the other with chopsticks, or is there a precise chronological order for the succession of dishes, like in France?

Lovely pictures! I finally learned how to make good kimchi. I'd teach Nagisa but I'm not sure she'd be as well behaved in the kitchen as SooYoung. We had an incident with Thai hot sauce when I got back home...yeah, we'll just skip that. Anyway, I've catching up to do! Much to see.

You know! Yes, it is hanbok dress. She felt much happiness to wear.
And pearl is Celia stone of birth, it is like her friend Celia was with her there.
We did not have all important ingredient, we did only little feast^^

SooYoung is most happy she can wear dress, it is rare to wear.
She only wished there were childrens she could give holiday present pouch money gift.

We made new year soup with rice cake, spicy beef meat with rice, spicy rice cake with scallion vegetable,
ham skewer and sweet dumplings with bean paste. We also liked to have there side dishees, zuchini vegetable in egg,
yellow radish, spinach and kimchi cabbage. I also received dried jujube and nashi pear fruit to bring home for munching.
You eat little bit of all as you wish^^ But you must eat soup first on new year day to have fortune. We did it!
