So stock wigs are crap!

Just received my first ever purchase of a wig! It was just a cheap Temu job but OMG … the quality compared to the one that came from Starpery!!! I see why so many of you just throw out the stock wig that came with your dolls! It’s like chalk and cheese! This wig actually felt like hair whereas the stock wig felt like plastic threads! And this was just a cheap $10 (AUD! so probably US$7) job! Wow, I can only wonder how a more expensive quality one would be like!

Seems to be hit and miss what dolls come with. I've had pretty good luck with them so far. The one that came with my WM lasted over 4 years. The only reason I replaced it, it's a dark wig and the beige webbing was starting to show through in spots. The cheep one I replaced it with is decent, but a wee shiny, compared to the one she came with.

Yeah they are truly hit and miss. I rarely ever use them. Get a good one. A bit of research will do you many thanks later.

I got two lushdolls and the wigs are actually quite good!

I got an HR doll and the wig was pretty much useless. Very thin, uneven, ratty, etc…

Luckily, as a part-time fetish crossdresser, have almost 30-40 different wigs in all styles, lengths a colors. So we can all share.

yes, I also have a wig made of starpera and the holes that you pull the wig into will tear immediately. the wig from "temu" is really better in comparison. I have to agree. same experience.

Yeah, investing in a quality wig or two is probably a wise move. The hair won't stick to the doll as badly and they won't shed nearly as much. A bad wig can completely ruin doll fun time.

You can always buy human hair wigs. Get ready to spend hundreds on them though. They are not cheap.

WM wigs are probably my favorites by far b/c of the hair texture and the white undercap is a huge bonus to not need a wig cap preventing stains.
Wigs that barely shed any hair will cost more which can be very useful in bed so thats debatable ranging from $50-$70
