Introducing Brooke, a Starpery 148F review

Thanks for letting us have to read all this negativity on someone else's introductory thread that I'm subscribed to and love looking at the pics of this beauty!
Re: Introducing Brooke, a Starpery 148F review
Yeah sorry mate - I realized later that I carried on a lot - I just felt really ripped off that a manufacturer could say that 6kgs heavier than advertised is reasonable and ok. It has totally thrown my trust for this manufacturer just as I was getting ready to make a $10,000 plus potential purchase.esp wrote: ↑Sun Jan 14, 2024 8:44 am LJ69.. Do you not even feel that you highjacked this man's introductory thread with a message that should have been directly sent to Starpery? Babel is apparently happy with his purchase and trying to showcase his beauty on "his" specific thread.

I can guarantee you that if someone opens the box all excited and the doll is way heavier than they were expecting then they are going to be very upset and disappointed especially if they are a new doll owner.
I am actually really glad that this thread exists - if you are aware of the 36kgs and still want the doll then great, it is just the deception of understating the weight by a whopping 6kg that pissed me off.
By the way - I totally adore the body shape and sex appeal of this doll - she has one of the most impressive bodies ever produced.
She is a stunning work of art and the owner should be proud of the wonderful pictures - I greatly appreciate his efforts to share this magnificent doll with us.
My post is also supposed to warn others to be very careful regarding getting what you thought - it would be awful for a new doll person to buy a doll, expecting a certain 'manageable' weight to be deceived. I have ready dozens and dozens of comments over the last 8 years from people that are new to buying dolls and were totally overwhelmed by how heavy and difficult they were to move - there have been many people disappointed over my years on this forum that have actually given up on dolls, purely based on them being unable to move and carry them due to excessive weight so this extra 6kg really makes that much of a difference.

Its alright esp, no harm done. This thread is more of a review, so I intend to keep people informed on how the doll is holding.esp wrote: ↑Sun Jan 14, 2024 8:44 am LJ69.. LJ69 is right, Starpery should be precise on the specs of their products. They should display 3 weights on the product definition. 1. Silicon 2. TPE no weigth reduction 3. TPE with weight reduction.
The doll is still awesome, but yeah this is an area wwhere Starpery should be more precise.

Hi LJ69, understand!! Don't worry, we have asked our factory to provide updated measurements as soon as possible. Thanks for your love for 148 Body!
As for the lighter weight, W.R. 4.0 will be released soon!! so it's not a big problem, please stay tuned!

Thanks for being open to making changes, really appreciate it.
I really like the look of Starpery dolls (I own a TPE weight reduced 172F) I love the look of the body and the head. It is just that the weight reduction was so hard, and made the legs very difficult to move at the hip joint so it made the doll very hard to use. I also had to seal the doll with TPE paste, and a TPE plug since I identified a hole (using an endoscope) in the back of the vagina that exposed the foam core.
The 148F is such a great looking body, and your TPE feels good, I would totally consider that doll or other models, if these issues were corrected. Love your designs!
Also I know that the 148F TPE does not have a non weight reduced version (I think you responded to one of my post in another thread, thank you so much again
could the proportion of the weight reduction material be reduced and the TPE material be increased so the doll is softer, easier to bend at the hip? Maybe the foam core should just be located in the upper torso, a lot less in the thighs, a lot less in the bottom half of the torso (so there is more TPE in the belly, and there is more TPE for the vagina, and the anal hole, and a lot less (or none at all) in the buttocks (to help softness, and movement of hip). Maybe the calves, and arms can have more weight reduction since hardness (not in the shoulders since mine is also very difficult to move the shrugging shoulders, I think due to the foam) here is probably less important?
I totally wouldn't mind a heavier 148F is these issues are solved. Although anything above 80 lbs is also a bit too heavy for me.
I know maybe this is asking a lot, but would love to give Starpery another try (the shape of your dolls are just SO great!). But right now, I don't feel like I can for practical reasons, the doll is just too hard to use, and the function is very limited.
Thanks so much for considering. Wishing you a great year of the Dragon. Lots of health, and joy!
Maybe the WR 4.0 will solve these issues, Please let us know how the WR 4.0 works! Look forward to learning how this version works.

Yes I totally agree LJ69. 6KG would is too much of a deviation. I can understand 1-2 KG (2 KG is a lot even it makes a huge difference when moving the doll).LJ69 wrote: ↑Tue Feb 06, 2024 10:34 pm Yes I am very interested in the WR 4.0 to hear more information - I still like a lot of the Starpery Dolls - but it is essential that the quoted weights are accurate - MASSIVE difference between a (manageable) 30kg doll vs a (heavy) 36kg doll - huge difference.

Though I have to admit that 36kg doll is too much for me.
